
Easy Ordering Instructions for Labels
How
to Order Return Address Labels
1.
Shop for the labels you would like to order.
2.
If you haven't already selected a typestyle, click on
typestyles
here or on any page you are on.
3.
Once you know which typestyle you would like, put
the number of sheets you would like to order into the shopping
basket on the right. Then click the add to basket button.
(While you are ordering, we'll ask for your return
address information, your typestyle choice, and
what you would like printed on your Complimentary Labels.)
3.
Click "Check Out" to complete the ordering process online.
That's it!
Mail-In
Order: If you would prefer to mail in your order form
along with your photo and your check or money order,
click "Printable" to print a copy of your order form.
(Mail-In Photo: Lightly print (or tape) your name and address
on the back of your photo. Your photo will
be returned along with your order.)
How
to Order Address Labels or Mailing Label Sets

All of Bachcroft's printing services are free. If you would like us
to address your labels, before placing your order for address labels
or for mailing label sets, you will need to provide the mailing list
you
would like us to print. Below are the two ways to provide your mailing
list.

1: USE THE
MAILING LIST PRINTING CENTER
For
many customers, the easiest way to
provide their mailing list is to use our
online Mailing List Printing Center.
Step
1. Click on Mailing
List Printing
here or on any page.
Step
2. Once you are at the center,
you will need to set up an account.
Note:
Your account and all of Bachcroft's printing
services are provided free of charge. Always fill in
all of the information, even if you are not having
return address labels printed.
If you ever forget your username or password,
simply contact us and tell us the name and address
you entered in your return address section.
We'll be able to quickly search for your account and
send your login information to the email address listed.
Step
3. Type or paste in your mailing list.
Since
this is your personal, password protected
mailing list account at Bachcroft, you can enter you
list during one session or a little at a time.
The Mailing List Printing Center offers you complete
control over how your mailing list is managed, year after
year. Use it as often or as little as you would like.
(Keep in mind that our printing staff does not edit
customers' mailing lists, so be sure to check that
your mailing list has been entered without errors.)
Note:
Bachcroft respects and honors your privacy. Your
mailing list is used for the sole purpose of printing an
order you have placed with Bachcroft. Any other use
of a customer's mailing list is strictly prohibited.

4. Choose a typestyle.
Bachcroft
offers you over 40 different typestyles to
choose from. When you are placing your order, we'll ask
you to select the typestyle you'd like us to use.

5. Tell us your username.
When
you are placing an order and want Bachcroft
to print your current mailing list onto the address labels,
simply tell us your username while you are paying
for your order. That's it! We'll look up your account and
print your current mailing list onto your address labels.

2: EMAIL YOUR LIST TO BACHCROFT
If your mailing list is already in a database
(such as Excel or FileMaker), you can email it to
mailinglists@bachcroft.com.

for Emailing Your Mailing List
(Excel)
Step
1. Format your spreadsheet.
The
Excel spreadsheet is formatted in columns.
Although it does not matter how the columns
are labeled, you may want to label them
Line 1, Line 2, Line 3 and, if needed, Line 4.
Make sure that the "Line 1" column contains only
what you would like printed on the first line of
your labels. The "Line 2" column is usually for
the street address. However, if for a particular family,
for example, you have more names than can be
printed on one line, for this particular family the column
will contain the additional name(s). The "Line 3"
column, in most instances, will contain the
"city, state zip code" information for a person or
family.
When you will need to include the name of the country,
this can usually be placed in the "Line 4" column.
Simply
stated, each column in Excel should
correspond to a line on your address label. Therefore,
you should never skip a column, and you should
only use the number of columns needed for a
particular person or family's address label.
Note: Please keep the number of characters in each
field reasonable. The more characters you put in a field,
the smaller the type size we can use. (The type size
we use is determined by the longest line in your mailing list.)
Generally, you should not have more than 36 characters
and spaces in a field (line). Keep in mind that our printing
staff does not edit customers' mailing lists, so please
be sure to check that your mailing list
has been entered without errors.

2. Choose a typestyle

3. Place your order.
When you place your labels order, make sure you
let us know that you are emailing your mailing list to
Bachcroft. In the appropriate space, you can simply
type in "Excel " to let us know that your
mailing list will soon follow.
Note:
If your file will be mailed from a different
email address than the one you have listed
in your order, you must tell us that email address.
Step
4. Email your Excel file.
Immediately
after placing your order, email
your mailing list (as an attachment) to
mailinglists@bachcroft.com. If your order includes
return address labels, in you email please be sure
to give us your return-address information.

(FileMaker)
Step
1. Save your mailing list as a "Text Only"
(ASCII) file.
2.
Check to make sure that your text
file has tabs or commas between fields.
Your text file must have a return at
the end of each line (at the end of each
person or family's information).
Note:
The maximum number of fields allowed is five.
They are Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4, and Line 5.
Line 1 is for the name (e.g., Mr. and Mrs. Nick Jones).
Line 2 is used for the street address, including an
apartment number. It can also be used for additional
addressees (e.g., and Family; Megan, John, and Nikki).
Line 3 is used for the "city, state zip code" portion
of
the address. Line 4 can be used for the country
when it is a foreign address. (For our standard address
labels, we do not recommend using a Line 5 field,
since this would require Bachcroft to use a
considerably smaller type size.)
Simply
stated, every mailing label line is one field.

and sending your mailing list.
