Label Stock Types and Label Dimensions

Bachcroft labels are available in three different stock types: Glossy, Matte, and Sheer Clear.
While all of our labels are self-adhesive, each stock type has different qualities and characteristics.
Below you will find descriptions of each to help you select the kind of stock that is just right for you.

In order to offer you the best quality in label stock, Bachcroft's laser labels are custom cut.
If you are interested in printing your own return address labels and/or address
labels, the dimensions (in inches) are listed below.

Label Stock Types

Glossy

When a lustrous appearance is what you want, select glossy labels.
Image colors and text appear more brilliant on glossy stock.
Note: Glossy stock is designed for laser printing only. If you are
planning to do your own printing with an inkjet printer or you would
like labels that you can write on, select matte rather than glossy stock.

Matte

When you want your labels to have a more subdued appearance, matte
labels are a very good choice. Matte labels are porous, absorbent, and smudge
resistant. Matte stock is what you want when you are planning to write
on your labels, use a typewriter, or do your own printing using an inkjet printer.

Sheer Clear

Want your labels to look as if they are barely there? Sheer Clear labels
are designed to nearly disappear, leaving the imaging and text there to be
seen in their full color. For a barely-there look with subdued colors
and texture, we recommend our ultra elegant, no shine Sheer Clear.
Note: Sheer Clear is not recommended for do-it-yourself printing.
